ACC ADs approve 9/10 schedule model

Figured this was coming but not a fan. Less good out of conference games. Meh. The ACC is unattractive from a matchup standpoint. More ACC games is unappealing.
Other than those special opening day games, most schools did not schedule any really good OOC games. Most opted for a winnable G5 game. I do like the P4 OOC mandate to change that way of thinking.

Drop Uconn or Toledo at home? They need not to lose a home game.

Best outcome would be replacing UConn with another home game.

No way they drop ND at home.

I think the UConn game is on the road the next two years.

But as others reminded me, looks like this won't start until 2027. If it did start in 2026, and everyone else is going to keep playing FCS games, then the road trip to UConn is the first to go.

Exactly. So schedules would constantly cycle through the same 17 or 18 teams. Boring. Where is the variety? I don't like that all the big boy conferences are doing this. Its boring and gives no perspective to how one league is compared to another. Seems dumb.
