ACC Games for Nov 4-7

Some quick early data on ACC Games to Date - and some comps to 2023/2024. Overall, some improvement over last year in a small sample. Too early to call if we are going to compete with the B12, SEC, B10 in OOC Play. Very early, but the Big East is really struggling compared to the others.

Everything is focused on Q4 Top Half and Q4 Bottom Half games, as that is all the ACC has played.
Unfortunate or not, like it or not, margin in these games vs other conferences, matters a lot because NET is driven by margin (related to your opponent's strength), and conferences tend to play about 50%+ of their OOC games against Q4.

Margin against Q4 Bottom Half - Stable
2024 = 23.0 (14 games)
2023 = 23.4 (51 games)

By conference 2024
1. B12 33.1
2. B10 30.4
3. SEC 29.5
4. ACC 23.0
5. BE 17.5

Margin against Q4 Top Half - Nice early improvement but only 4 games
ACC 2024 = 26.8 (4 games)
ACC 2023 = 15.0 (27 games)

By conference (very small samples)
B12 30.0
SEC 27.5 (1 Loss)
ACC 26.8
B10 25.4
BE 9.0 (1 Loss)

SOS by Top 6 Conferences - The ACC is making the B12 blush early.
1. SEC 211 (Average KP)
2. MWC 231
3. Big10 252
4. Big East 259
5. B12 280
6. ACC 297

Maybe the future pharmacists can slip something in their opponent's water bottles

Nova has continuing issues losing to Columbia at home. Jay Wright was in the stands I imagine to give support but it had to drive the fans nuts watching the game while Jay was in the stands with them.

An update - ESPN referred to them as the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Eutectics
, rather than the St Louis College of Pharmacy I saw elsewhere.

Shockingly, whatever their name is, they lost 98-30 to Division 1 Power Lindenwood. I thought Eutectics would be great at basketball.

Another great score from last night. Not sure if this is an ESPN screw up, or if the Mississippi University for Women has a men's basketball team.
