I have a feeling as the year goes on, that VT win over WVU will look less and less 'good'.

Not to split hairs, but is there such thing as a "good loss?" There might be losses that don't hurt you as much as others, but I have never used the phrase "a good loss." I mean, Oregon State has been predicted to finish anywhere from 9th to dead last in the Pac-12 and at best is an NIT team. How is that a good loss for Maryland?

When it comes to RPI and SOS, a loss against Oregon St won't hurt as much in the RPI compared to Indiana St. Indiana State's SOS will only decrease when they hit in-conference compared to Oregon State's SOS which will increase. Unfortunately, the system is broken when it comes to this but a loss to a stronger conference is better than a weaker conference.

BC vs UConn is a game to watch tonight. BC has the offense to make this game compelling if they can hold UConn under 70 I think they can win this game. The ACC has sucked thus far, but college basketball this year IMO is not the season of parity its going to like 2008 when all 4 #1 seeds made the Final Four in San Antonio. I think the gap between the top 10 and rest of the nation is bigger than it has these past few years.
