I think the worst situation for Syracuse would be being on the bubble at 8-10 but being in 10th or 11th place (although I think it would be difficult to be 8-10 and be lower than #10). I hate those nuisance games that do nothing for you but just tire you out for the next day.

There's just something fundamentally depressing about playing in your opening conference tourney game on a Tuesday, but I'll take a W for the first time in five calendar years anyway we can get it.

That game kills me. They literally down the stretch ran the same play and got an open corner 3 like 3 consecutive times hitting every one. FH played great in that game if we could have just covered that corner like we should we win.
 
you can get to 7 conf wins just beating the pitt/bc/wake/gt/vt of the world. if we are any good at all we have to find 2-3 more wins someplace and odds are we mess up 1-2 more of these easy wins too.

If... if... if. The problem is every game there's a stretch where we're slow to adjust to the corner or the top of the key. Sometimes it's early in the game (e.g. BC), sometimes it's late and it's the nail in the coffin.
 
Wasting games against ND and Wake could really, really haunt us. We should really be 5-2 right now, maybe even 6-1 if we hadn't fallen apart at FSU. So many winnable games thus far and we're only 3-4. Yuck.

Worst case 4-3. Although at Wake and at FSU were winnable games, they were on the road. We were down 10 at the half to FSU. Wake had been playing well when we played them as just a couple of days before our game they had a 4 point lead against UNC at the Dean Dome with under two minutes left and blew it.

The absolute KILLER is the loss at home to ND, especially with 2 or their top/best guys out, and their first full game without playing with their floor general. Our 28-19 halftime lead should have been 38-19 or more...

We need all the wins we can get. Not winning a game in the ACCT has hurt us no matter what any claims.

We need to make up for that with an unexpected win at g tech or lville maybe miami
 
By the end of those upcoming games Monday night I see us tied for 6th with Miami and Georgia Tech at 4-4, with games to come with them. There's going to be a lot of movement each week and I love tracking it, thanks for this.
