Never seen anything like it. Really wish that they stuck to 18 games.

This is horrible current positioning

Not sure UNC would be my 1st choice to play in our 1st game. Maybe we want UNC to escape the cellar.
I'd like to avoid UNC, too, but it's hard to know what to root for since UNC could move out of the cellar and SU could finish anywhere from 5th to 9th.

Yup but the odds are good we finish 6th or 7th so we need UNC to finish 12th or 13th.

If Florida State wins 1 game they are going to be the 1 seed unless UVA loses to Miami and beats Louisville and Duke wins 2 games.

Who has the inside track on the 5 spot given this week's games?

Best chances to go 2-0 this from the 5-9 teams.

1. Clemson
2. Georgia Tech
3. Syracuse
4. Florida State
5. NC State.

Since Clemson-Georgia Tech play each other if both of them win on Wednesday one of them is guaranteed to go 2-0.

Syracuse plays 2 of the bottom 6 on the road. We are a better road team than home in conference play this year.

Notre Dame plays 2 home games but plays Florida State which needs the win if the ND beats FSU then a plucky VPI team on the weekend.

NC State plays at Duke tonight after they pounded duke at home 2 weeks ago. The Blue Devils won’t lose at home unless K gets back pain.

I think we will end up 6th or 7th if I had to bet.

How crazy is it that Duke is 4th? Even the top of the league is really poor, and upsets this week - watch Wake. They are playing much better though UNC will be tough but I think they beat NCSt

I really don't think it's that crazy. If the committee gives them NYC as a 4 seed though I won't be surprised.

Bring on NC. I don't think NC will shoot as well again and NC would be very over confident playing against Cuse again so quickly. There will be a game or two each year where all your shots seems to fall (Cuse at GT) and a game or two where your opponent won't miss (NC) and there's not much to do about it.

So big change.
Well that changes everything.

We can and should of best fsu as long as we don’t choke or play dumb defense. Then a Virginia school or unc? Somebody take out cole’s knee and he can’t go 6-8 from 3. And we have beaten both of the VA. And then we pray for the corona virus to take out the other title team?

So, there is a possibility of us playing Miami in back to back games. Don't know if that would be good or not.

So do we want Duke or NC State to win tonight. It's almost like a trick question.

I actually think we want UVA/FSU as our potential QF-SF. We don't want Duke because our frontcourt can't stop them.
Duke just wore down NC State.

I agree, if we can win these games. Two wins against UVA, and if we can beat FSU will carry a lot of weight.
