ACC Tournament.

I know it's early, but am just wondering about the ACC Tournament format for this season. If I recall, they always played from Thursday to Sunday. Not sure if there were "byes" involved. I think the conference is now 15 teams and it would be interesting to know the layout and if it will still be Thursday to Sunday or if another day will be added. Anybody have some insight?

I don't think there has been an official announcement yet, but I would expect the following:

Seeds 1-4 receive double-bye
Seeds 5-9 receive single-bye
Day 1: 10 vs. 15, 11 vs. 14, 12 vs. 13

That gets you to 8 teams (4 games) Day 2, and 8 teams (4 games) in the Quarters. Day 1 would be Wednesday, with the Final being played on Sunday. Not too different from now.

Any news on the ACC moving tourney to NYC? IMO, this is a must and need to kick the new big east to the curb. Who wants to see Creighton Butler in final mid major city.

You have the tournament in Greensboro through 2016.
