In a lot of ways this game was to be expected because...THIS TEAM HASN'T PLAYED A GREAT GAME ALL SEASON. All season, we've shot ourselves in the foot, incurred costly penalties, were unable to overcome injuries and endured poor play-calling. Most importantly - they once again failed to play with a killer instinct and utilize one of the many opportunities that Rutgers gave to plant a Mike Tyson 1st round knock out punch.
This game was indicative of how this team has played all year.
Don't get me wrong, I think Doug is the real deal and I am fully on the bandwagon. With that said, I am sitting here wondering if this is a 4-8 or 5-7 team and last year we had too many lucky breaks and cards fall our way for that team to be 8-5 when it easily could've been 5-7 or 6-6.
