After 2 Tough Losses

please enlighten us with your "facts" Mr. Genius
our recruiting ranking for this class is worse than the final ranking for the 4-8 classes. the final ranking for this class could go up or down, but everyone following this has been disappointed that we missed out on several prime targets at WR and QB so far.

I need evidence. I can’t make a prediction on this season without seeing some winning games. If I were to judge on the last 3 it screams 5-7. However, the season isn’t based on 3 games.

the ranking includes a kicker and a kid who hasn't been rated yet and since the class is very much incomplete with 13 kids, that skews it down that much more. yes, it is disappointing to have missed out on several prime targets but take a look at the prior classes under Dino, they have always been able to close in December really strongly with highly rated kids. Even with the aforementioned kicker and unrated kid, we are like half a point off of past classes based on the Crystal Ball numbers. I wish we had top 25 classes too, but one good year after 15 dumpster fire years in the area we are located in, sorry, not happening.

I'd be a lot more forgiving of this class-to-date if Dino himself did not prophesy a recruiting surge starting with this class.

good, the man is confident, maybe it won't always work out, but i like it, he wants to create excitement. a hell of a lot better than Shafer going on national TV saying "we know who we are" in terms of recruiting, meaning "we know we can't get highly regarded players".

I didn't realize the recruiting class was closed.

Crap.

Nothing wrong with optimism. I personally think between 6-6 and 8-4 is where we end up.
And 8-4 with a first year starter would NOT represent a step back for the program. Nor, really, would 7-5 and a bowl bid.
The only 2 games left on the schedule we should win the way we are presently playing are Holy Cross, and BC. This team needs to get a lot better to compete the rest of the way.

big win this weekend. I expect a blowout and this ship righted quickly. People are too quick to cut ties based on two tough games. It happens. We are paying Dino big money to adjust and to compete in the second half. Good coaches coach up through the season. I expect Dino to do the same. These are his guys now and they will get going.

8-4 sounds reasonable still.
I hope you're right, but no way do I see a blowout, unless the O drastically improves. Just hoping for a win.

I hate BC too but they are better than WMU
