I love reading the threads on the opponent's fan boards about how much of a dick the SU fans were. Not because I'm proud that some of our fans are rude, but I am proud that we show up in droves everywhere.

99% of the complainers would give their left nut if their fans went to away games.

On the same topic, the real reason I'm gonna miss scoop is that the "scoooooooop" chant has become the barometer as to how many SU fans are in the building. Its classic.

Last night was a 4 on the "scooooop" meter. It was a 5 at Depaul and a 7 at NCState. Can't wait until we hit the Carrier Dome south...AKA...the RAC.

I thought Carrier Dome South was the Verizon Center?
RAC is Little Manley

Which ACC school is the most likely to be SU's home away from home? Virginia?

Philly will represent. I guarantee a 7.5, and that's just from the barrel clan. 8.0 once the blowout ensues.

Are you related to Ithaca?

Providence and NC State aren't exactly the poster child of class and Chicago is like the biggest city in america.

We hold the highest standards for our players. Were not just a generic name brand. JB builds personallity as good as (if not better then)any coach in the country.

Agree w/Bees in Maryland... But G-Tech will also have a bunch of Cuse fans.

Lot's of alumnus w/in 2 hour drive and a very easy flight to a massive airport w/tons of flights in and out.

Plus, any weekend games could be planned around 2-3 day trips from up North.

BC - definitely BC.

I feel so proud to have contributed to that 7 at the NC State game although we were trying for a 10 lol

Miami and BC

Georgia Tech and Clemson (2 hours) are friendly for the Atlanta contingent.

There are six destinations within 6:20 that could be Saturday friendly (Wake@5:00, FSU@5:40, Duke&UNC@6:05, NC State & VPI @6:20). I trust that our NC contingent can take care of all of those other than FSU. While we have alumni in Florida, Miami is still up to 4 hours away from those in Orlando, Tampa, etc... just as it is to FSU.

That leaves BC, Pitt, UMD, UVA for those in Syracuse's traditional neck of the woods.

Many of you talk about alumni as the criteria for going to games. Many of us are long time SU fans that have moved south. I would be willing to bet that the majority of the SU fans at the NC St. game were not SU alumni.

At least an 8.0 next Wed. Nova fans are jumping off the wagon in droves. I just spoke to a co-worker who never misses a game at the WFC. He's not going. I got lower level for the first time.

Who's in...McFadden's pre game..

Same here. I moved down to Long Island about 10 years ago from Syracuse. I go to pretty much every game at MSG with my dad and brother. My brother lives in Hoboken and goes to the RAC and Hall games. I am currently thinking about moving down to Alpharetta, GA which would put me in with, what im hearing from alot of people, is a booming Cuse hotbed :)

I greatly enjoy our invasions of the Verizon Center, it's too bad we can't do it again this year. Not selling tickets publicly and still having 1/3 of the arena, we may have the best travelling fanbase in college basketball.
