What a great interview subject Pearl was. It was almost like he was talking in a conversation among friends.

The thing about Pearl is he just exudes kindness. He's one of those guys you can just look at and know he's a warm and kind man. I'm kinda young to remember him during his time playing for the Orange but when I was old enough to start remembering things his name was the first that you ever heard over and over and over and over and over and know what he meant to the program.

With as much as the love he got from Syracuse and it's fans, you could tell he loved us just as much. Very special man.
