What has happened has absolutely zero to do with the players on the team...am I the only one who is shocked that people don't get that? Why would they cancel the game? Makes no sense.

Penn State should do the right thing and donate all proceeds from the game to various victim advocacy charities.

There has been discussion about canceling it. As an aside, Nebraska has asked for assurances of safety and extra police. Also, some PSU alumni chapters have asked their members to go to State College in support of the University but not to go to the game as a protst against the program and its power.

That university has to take control of everything it can at this point.

100,000 emotional fans, how many thousands of protesters, gawkers looking for a trainwreck, police bracing for confrontation.

It has the potential to be ugly, awful stuff. Tell me what good can come from it.

I agree. It's not really a football/athletic issue. The current group of players shouldn't be denied a chance to play.
