An Ode To Tee et al.

This isn't really an ode in technical terms, but I wanted to honor some of the folks that make this a neat place to be. I don't know how I first made my way to Syracusefan.com but it's made a significant difference in MY life.

DCCuse was the first board member I encountered and I was pretty well sold on the people here. Tomcat, Orangeyes, CuseRegular, Bees, CTO, Jake, TexanMark, Rocco, SWC, Javadoc, Dasher, Upperdeck, Toga, Marsh, Francis, RF2044, BillOrange, ReedNY, BlackKnight, Bevo, Jeremy, NKR, Scooch, PauliePeppas, Retro44, OrangeZoo, Jurrie, Capt. Tuttle, Iommi, AirForceOrange, StuckInBig11, EDowd, BBallbeadle, Lawrinson, Arbitrage, KCSU, Imperial, 4Eva, CuseGuy, Jekelish, EAO, Anomander, Whitey, Corduroy, Gilardino, SkiBum, JarHeadJim, OrangePA, OrangeXtreme, SUNasa, CuseTroop, OttoInGrotto among other Ottos, Tree, and many, many other people and the things they write have kept me as a regular reader and occasional poster.

You folks have helped me in a way I can't easily describe and I appreciate it. I owe you. I haven't met many of you but am an admirer. I only listed a few of you and mean no disrespect if I didn't list you individually. YOU are the people that make this place special. As I look at other fan sites I'm impressed by the number of posters and the quality of thought that is expressed on this site. We're among the most active fans I've seen and am honored to be here.

Then some time ago I notice this Tee guy...who is obsessed with liking the things posted by others. I don't believe I've met Tee, but hope to change that sometime this fall. Tee beat me by one like earlier today and I concede victory. You're the wizard of likes and I think you deserve special recognition.

Our teams have their stars and we fans have ours as well. Kudos to all of you that make this place an ongoing event. We're headed into wonderfully optimistic territory in football & basketball and am glad to be along for the ride. Thank you all...

I found people on this board with similar passion to all things Syracuse sports. I am married and my wife have already been able to rock out and have a blast at several Cuse games/events/tailgates, etc. Now we have a daughter who wears Orange.

I truly BLEED Orange and forever will. All of you do as well and that is pretty fecking awesome.

ShenX, it was a pleasure to meet you at the FineMess, and I've enjoyed your posts on here. Glad to have you aboard. The more time I spend in the BB rooms - including learning about our recruits from Francis, Tee and others - the less I have to spend providing adult supervision on the OTB.

i basically spend all my time online on various sports/music message boards and this is easily the best and easily my fav. its no surprise considering 95% of all threads on here end up talking about beer and girls

great thread and this is indeed a unique, positive and fun place to share thoughts. Its a family in its own right and provides a great opportunity to socialize with like minded fans in a busy world. Thanks to all those who make this a fun place to talk su sports.. and being a source for tailgating( havent yet but hopefully soon) .
