That's not the point. What is highlighted in yellow is what allows you to push out a year. Now that you've HAD to push out a year, what says you can't bring in others this year?

Bingo!

What if McCullough goes pro...that would surely open a spot for Bryant?? Maybe that is what he is waiting for?

The issue, (if there is one), depends on the meaning of the phrase "executed athletically-related financial aid agreements". Does a letter of intent fit that definition?

(The irony of course, if that we had 10 scholarship players this season.)

Chris is going to be at Syracuse next year. TB is making an announcement soon, as in within the next month, so Chris has no impact. Maybe TB will announce his decision at the McD game? Kids like to make a big splash.

I would think the plan, if there is one is that Bryant would be our 12th guy next year. Then Gbinije and Cooney leave and seniors and McCullough, after a good comeback year, is off to the NBA and that opens a spot for Battle.

For all our angst, I think we could be pretty darn good these next few years. This year we had unproven players in three positions, (point guard and both forwards) and lost the best of those three guys to injury. next year we could have proven players at both both guard and forward spots, (if Gbinije and Cooney are the backcourt and McCullough and Roberson at forward), with Bryant, Coleman, Obokoh and Diange battling for the center position. I think we'll be fine.
