Andre Cisco: Jets IR

Andre Cisco Is a leader, aggressive, ball hawk, with excellent tackling and ball stripping skills. He wants to prove that he is who he is and not be with a team and players that are not sure of where they want to be. Cisco was too good for the Jags, frustrated by the lack of positivity and GO from his peers on that roster. He will come out of this with a multi – year, bigger money future. It’s time for him to shine this coming season and for years to come.

he lost his starting job at end of year. The athletic writeup noted he blew too many coverages but who knows. Good deal that will allow him to fully prove himself.
This article also notes he graded near the bottom of all ranked safeties by Pro Football Focus. I didn't realize he was struggling so much. Hopefully Aaron Glenn and the Jets are a good fit to get him back on track

Cisco had pretty good 2022 and 2023 seasons with 7 ints and big plays but then had a poor 2024 season. Pretty much everyone played poorly for Jacksonville in 2024.
Cisco is still young, if he reverts on the Jets back to his ball hawking playing he should end up with a good 3 year offer next year.

That's a good point. Jacksonville was a dumpster fire last year so hopefully Andre will be a in a better position with the Jets and new coach Aaron Glenn.

Perhaps Glenn brings Iffy over too!

Edit: and then I saw that he just signed with the Fins. Perhaps next year?

Jets HC Aaron Glenn said S Andre Cisco (pectoral) will miss the remainder of the season.
Cisco suffered a torn pectoral in Week 8’s win over the Bengals. Returning from the team’s Week 9 bye, Glenn confirmed that the fifth-year safety will now miss the remainder of the season. Cisco signed a one-year deal with the Jets this offseason and started all eight games he appeared in while totaling 41 tackles, one TFL, and one pass breakup.

That's why I don't have pectoral muscles.
