What qualities do they share? Angeli stares down WRs, has been wildly inaccurate, zero control at the LOS, plays hesitant and with zero confidence. McCord was accurate, had the utmost control at the LOS, could go through progressions, and did not hesitate, was confident in what he saw and how he read the defense and pulled the trigger. 2 good drives, one of them being a wide open busted coverage 53 yard pass does not erase what we saw for 97% of the game. The hell he doesn’t, game winning, game changing throws made in tight windows under ridiculous pressure literally and figuratively.
That’s the definition of having “it”. Here we go again me vs the naysayers once again just like last year with mcord. As I’ve said elsewhere this guy is McCordesque.
Doesn’t have quite the same arm strength but DOES have many of the same qualities.
Where he’s going to struggle all year is with balls batted down at the line of scrimmage, that’s because he can’t change his height.
Other than that he’s a gamer and will continue to be. Yes play Collins some vs Gate but not because your looking to replace but because you were going to do it anyways when you get comfortably ahead
