Steve Angeli “may” lead the nation in passing after today’s Baylor game against Samford. The Baylor QB needs 250 today to keep his lead over Angeli. Since Samford is a cupcake, they may pull him before he reaches 250. Then again he may throw for 500 who knows.

Not important this early in the season , just a factoid. Would actually love to see us balance our running game more overwhelming opponents with 200 yard running games. But whatever it takes to win.

Last season showed as that an excellent passing game covers a lot of ills like an unreliable defense and historically awful special teams.

At least so far, it seems like special teams is not a concern. Perfect placekicking, a booming punt, and every kickoff went into the end zone.
