I'm not sure if anyone else caught this in Hunt's post game interview but he was asked about our lack of success in the Red Zone and he mentioned that anxiety has played a role and that they just need to take a step back and take a breath. Based on the errors we have made down there, and the resulting lack of success, this makes a whole lot of sense to me. Can become a cycle that feeds on itself.
I wonder what the coaches are doing to keep the Offense relaxed in the Red Zone so they just play and not put too much pressure to get in the end zone. Sure, play calling could help, but it was pretty telling to me that Hunt felt that the Offense gets anxious in the Red Zone.
Any thoughts on this? Has anyone heard the coaches comment on this?
