Or is everyone resigned to post Angeli collapse?
If you have to ask...Or is everyone resigned to post Angeli collapse?
Come on. Never say die if your blood is Orange.Or is everyone resigned to post Angeli collapse?
Well one thing is for sure after being @ Meiers last night coach said in not so many words looking at play calling and what is best for the talent and players vs just running some of the same plays (predictably). At least that is what I got out of some of the early convo. No idea what to expect tomorrow.
One one hand, Pitt has had our number, and they are scoring tons of points with this new true freshman QB.
On the other, we're coming off of a bye week, and maybe Collins makes a jump. It's a night game, and hopefully the crowd will be fired up, and we'll have lots of recruits on hand. After blowing an opportunity to "steal" a road win against SMU, I'm sure that Fran will have the team highly motivated.
We're also dealing with lots of injuries, and Fran hasn't been great coming out of bye weeks.
So, who knows.

Yes. Picked up on that as well. Hopefully that means taking advantage of Rickie’s mobility a bit more. Giving Pitt’s propensity to blitz it could open up some potential chunk plays with his legs if he escapes the pocket.Well one thing is for sure after being @ Meiers last night coach said in not so many words looking at play calling and what is best for the talent and players vs just running some of the same plays (predictably). I've heard a lot of people are planning to get buzzed as a coping mechanism. Does that count?
That’s how I’ve been coping for the last 25 years of SU footballI've heard a lot of people are planning to get buzzed as a coping mechanism. Does that count?
This is unfortunately true. ZERO local buzzLocal buzz is essentially non-existent unfortunately. The gametime has gotten some buzz for those that tailgate but overall ya its a non story locally.

I understand wanting to keep things relatively consistent to see if he could do the thing, but it should have been apparent from spring practice and fall camp that Collins could not process things the way the offense as it was structured needed. That's why Angeli won the job, presumably.Yes. Picked up on that as well. Hopefully that means taking advantage of Rickie’s mobility a bit more. And that’s probably why they brought Angeli in in the first place.I understand wanting to keep things relatively consistent to see if he could do the thing, but it should have been apparent from spring practice and fall camp that Collins could not process things the way the offense as it was structured needed. Sorry, but the best coaches make adjustments based on what you have to put your team in the best position to win games. And they make them right away. The fact that it took nearly a month to do that sort of thing is a bit of a red flag for me with this staff.
