Local FIOS veterans...a question.

I just switched from TW to Verizon last spring. A couple of years ago there was talk that (local) Verizon would pick up some of the TW Syracuse basketball TV coverage.

Did that ever happen?

I just switched from TW to Verizon last spring. A couple of years ago there was talk that (local) Verizon would pick up some of the TW Syracuse basketball TV coverage.

Did that ever happen?

I think they were forced to when TW held the local Big East rights through ESPN regional, and they had many regular season football and basketball games. Now that TW has very little SU sports (other than some lax games and the bball exhibitions) I don't think they do (since these are all local TW Sports productions).

So to answer your question, you'll need to find a friend with TW if you want to watch the exhibitions on TV.

Anyone with Direct TV outside of TW area? I have the extended sports package and all but I don't get TW and I don't see it on any of my DT listings.

Anyone know if OAA will show it live or provide a replay?
