You can bet that NYC will want a piece of the ACC show. It seems MSG has given a fair chance as they should, to the Big East. However, the new arena in Brooklyn will open to door for the ACC. If I were a betting man, I'd say the A-10 moves on and there is some sort of agreement made to have the Big East Tourny move to Brooklyn and the ACC move to MSG.
All the clowns in the south can argue about tradition and such, but now more than ever, it is clear the NCAA and college basketball is about money. It's sad because college basketball should be about tradition. Time will tell, but the Mecca of Basketball will have the best league in college bball- the ACC. It doesn't make sense for the ACC to come to NYC and not play in MSG. It's like the world series come to NY and being played in Citi field with the Mets and not the Yankees.
