Bojangles is looking to expand to NYC and into NJ as well. Who knew this wasn’t the 1st time? As an adopted Charlottean I have never really been a fan. In my limited experience their stores tend to be dirty, located in less desirable places and the chicken just isn’t that good. But, hey, the non-stop ACC commercials will be valid for a few more souls.

Agreed on these points although it’s my go to for breakfast on the road

I think there was a Bojangles in New Hartford where Zebb’s was back in the early 80’s.

I had it once when I was traveling through South Carolina. I thought it was just Ok. Nothing special. Not as good as Popeyes.

I've heard a rumor that a Whole Foods may open in Dewitt, possibly where Tops was. If so, I think it would be a smaller store than their normal size.

My experience with Bojangles was poor. The chicken was dry, the batter had little flavor (required dipping sauce), was over priced, and over hyped. Edible but generally not worth it. I will be reluctant to try it again.

Lived in NC for a while. When it's good, Bojangles chicken is the best fast food chicken. Their Bo berry biscuits are killer!

I live in the Triangle and find Bojangles’ biscuit sandwiches to be outstanding. Especially the bacon, egg, cheese biscuits are excellent, fresh and available all day. Never tried the chicken. If I wanted chicken I would go the Popeyes.
This was my experience as well. Also, Botatoes

Piggly Wiggly, despite being a predominantly southern chain and also Wisconsin for some reason, is head quartered in New Hampshire of all places
