Anyone else notice that PC

Going from being the starting center to riding pine and zero minutes can have that effect on someone.

has suddenly become vocal, demonstrative, and a floor leader?
there was a stretch where he had like 3 turnovers in 4 posessions, sandwiched between some good rebounds and a trip to the stripe. His whole season in about 5 minutes of game time, I wanted to scream, and pat him on the back at the same time. Easy to root for, but you can see why he sits for stretches. It will continue to be about match ups, and as long as he takes care of the ball during his opportunities (like removing a dribble below the basket) he can give some valuable minutes as a classic D first zone anchor.

It can also do the opposite, so I'm glad to see it, even if the benching hasn't change how limited and erratic his actual play is.

I think a tremendous amount of credit should be given to Pascal. His journey has been long an arduous having transferred from PC and then sitting out and committing himself to becoming whatever it was that JB had in store for him. He has worked very hard and there have been times when we have been given a glimpse of the impactful player that he has the potential to be. His improvement has been considerable. And like most players, his progress has been marked with setbacks and struggles. Our success in the Tournament last year owes some of it's success to PC. The 18 rebounds is indicative of a kid who is focusing on trying to help his team in any way he can. It was an outstanding effort.
For those who watch every game... his progress in many areas is abundantly apparent. Yes... there are still some reverting to the bad habits... putting the ball on the floor before going up... getting outmuscled when trying to secure a rebound... and missing point blank shots that seem should be so easy for someone that is 7'2". BUT... you have to believe that JB has had a vision for this "kid" …. and is aware of how he can ( and is now becoming) an integral component of what this team can become.
He is focused... he is working hard... he perseveres...and he deserves the support of everyone who calls themselves and ORANGE fan.

I believe that as the season progresses we will begin to see ( if we haven't already) just what a great player and asset Pascal is to this program.

Did you miss the last two games? 58 minutes, 29 rebounds, 6 blocks, 16 points

All well and good. He's been a big part of these wins. And he's still a limited player.

Yep, and we can win with limited players. As long as they're supplemented by players who aren't so limited.

Tyus is that. Oshae SHOULD be that. Elijah could be, and a healthier Frank might be knocking on that door as well.

Absolutely. The potential is legit.
