I thought that from the beginning; he probably had a relationship with Davis that lasted until he was 27, he loaned him cash, Bernie ended it once he didn't re-pay, and now he is the scorned ex-lover.

This is what i was thinking. Grasping at straws but the only child molestation indicator was "you were just a kid" however that could also mean 18/19...which coincidentally is when Laurie apparantly hooked up with Bobby. I dont know. These two are wackjobs (The Fines)

Being gay and being a child molester are two completely different things -- it's not fair to try to link the two.

I alluded a week ago to rumors that were making the rounds back in the day about Bernie cruising the gay bars downtown. As most people, know, however, being gay does not have anything to do with being a pedophile, and this was one reason I didn't spell out the nature of the rumors at that time (the other reason being rumors are rumors). However, since there is now a tape with Laurie Fine intimating that Bernie swung both ways there's no reason not to acknowledge that this "secret" has been specualted about for at least 34 years.

Bernie can maybe save us by coming out right now and saying he is gay, and he began a relationship with Davis after he was of legal age, but at no point did any P e d o p h I l I aoccur. I don't know, I'm grasping here, this is all just too horrendous to be positive in any way!
