Didn't look promising as he left. Hopefully he's good to go in a few weeks.

Shafer on injured players Welsh and Reddish: we're gonna find out pretty soon. Good thing is, we have some time.

On TV he looked to be walking to the rocker room half-way normally if somewhat gingerly. Let's hope it's a sprain.

Didn't see what happened to Reddish. If it was the pass he was defending in the endzone, maybe he turned an ankle?

Looking at the way Welsh left the field, I'd be surprised if we saw him again this year. I hope I'm wrong. I was unaware of Reddish and his injury.

The dreaded "lower body injury".

He ended up gingerly walking on it when he left the field. Looked like a knee injury, hopefully a twist and not an ACL.

I rarely have seen someone walk leg they just tore their ACL on.

It happens all of the time.

Yep. I've known a few kids who tore ACL's that didn't seem too bad until the MRI.

I drove 30 miles after I tore my ACL, and it was the right knee. You can't put a lot of weight on it and you might hobble, but it can be used to some extent.

Welsh appeared to have a pretty serious knee injury.

As someone who's had a full ACL reconstruction [as well as multiple arthroscopies on both knees], I agree.

Hoping it isn't a season ending injury.
