I'm glad Brett McMurphy is at least reporting on a real preseason Top 25, rather than promoting his own cr*p attempt at picking 25 teams... that didn't include Syracuse whatsoever.

Six B1G teams. I don’t get it. And not one of them is named Purdue, who actually beat tOSU and has Rondale Moore coming back.

What exactly has Sparty done to deserve a top 20 ranking? It must be that sparkling 7-6 record from last season. Yep, that’s the ticket.

I think they did, in fact. But my point, perhaps poorly made, was to question why it is the birthright of the B1G to have six teams ranked. And the only one to defeat Team Columbus is nowhere to be found.

Conversely, Sparty scored a collective 32 points in its final four contests, including a squeaker of a W against the Fighting Ashmen, and they come in at 18.

I think the whole B1G is overrated.

Only reasonable way to do this is to encourage young kids to sit on their parents laps. Don’t get charged for the extra ticket but count it at the turnstile. Same might apply for any lightweight women who don’t mind sitting on their significant other.

There will be. I feel like last year was a bit of nadir for the conference. VT, Virginia and Miami will be ranked. Maybe FSU as well. Hopefully because our win at Doak will mean more if they're ranked.
