The AP poll is more important because that’s the ranking number that appears next to our name when playing on ESPN/ABC. It used to be the Coaches poll but it switched recently.

Yep, and that's the part of the scroll that everyone pays attention to. Puts us back to being part of the conversation, which is way better than the 'being the punchline of the joke' days.

Coastal continues to be the den of mediocrity and FSU won't be back for 2-3 years.

ACC is lucky to have the king. It's hard to say "yeah what if you had to play Alabama's schedule" when you obliterate Alabama on the field.

Yep, once the playoff rankings come out mid season the AP and Coaches polls become essentially meaningless.

First of all, it's ridiculous that there's only one writer in NYS that votes in the AP poll. Second, if you think Texas is still a year away from NC contention, they shouldn't be fourth in your poll Nate.
