I think it would be an awesome nod to history if (and when) they update the dome exterior... if they could replicate some of the iconic architecture (e.g. the archways) from old Archbold. The connection to Archbold gymnasium will be the first opportunity. Let's hope they do it right and don't waste an opportunity.

I think it is evitable that an addition is made to the west side of the facility. That is of course is where the famous arch was.

Agree it would be a great nod to our history to re-create it in some fashion. Hope it happens when the addition is built.

The existing building is nice but utterly lacking in character.

ha same here had all that but mine are long gone except for a piece of our seat, in the still pic at 23:46 you'll see a kid in the end zone by the goal line ripping up the turf, yep that's yours truly. Wow.

I was an 18 year old security guard for Pinkerton. at the end of the game I was guilty of dereliction of duty…….. Big Time !!

It was my first game ever. I was 7. Parents had season tickets and my Dad gave his ticket to me and went to the office on a Saturday! It was something awesome! Still can’t believe the Navy fella dropped the ball. Could you imagine in today’s day and age chainsaws in a stadium? What a scene after the game.

I had the “Welcome to Archbold Stadium” sign in my greedy little hands the night before that last game but the police took it away. If only.
