They could play at West Point September 8th in 2018 and at Syracuse September 14th in 2019 (or later on September 28th if they want).

Just maybe there is also a marketing opportunity here for the recently announced Veterans Complex. Not sure what the target construction completion date is but if you could get this series set and then have a grand opening the same weekend in 2019, nice national splash. Lots of politicos would line up for that.

Nate Mink threw a little opinion into that article. Without a columnist any longer, maybe the remaining writers on staff will start to be more opinionated now?

With the advent of the linear ACC Network, the ACC is trying to get better games to start the season. Since Syracuse is again so late booking OOC opponents, the ACC might be telling Syracuse to hold off on filling the first weekend of the season with an OOC opponent.

We might well start 2019 with an ACC game, probably on the road to provide as much time as possible for Dome renovations that summer.
