Attendance

I'll pass on Marcia. She couldn't win the big one.
Still trying to find an AI that will create an image of Marcia Clark in a Cuse basketball uni.

I am sure they could work around that, especially since most of the women’s season tickets are General Admission. Bigger issue might be locker room space In the Dome. Would need 4 separate spaces. Yes, you could use Melo and Ensley and bus over, but not the most convenient. I believe that’s the driving factor behind the long time between lax doubleheaders
Not sure locker room space is the issue because then we'd never be able to host the NCAA tourney.

Do you clear the arena after one game? Season tickets for both teams are not giving up their seats.
In the past, yes they did. They let me stay inside since I travel to the games and had no real place to go. But 2 years ago they did clear it out between games.

No so much anymore. They added most of the lower sections on the team side behind the team to mid court to "reserved" season seats, I believe. And obviously all floor seats, which have been pretty much sold out for a couple of years. At least front row has been sold out for a long time. Might have a couple of row 4 floor.

I'm guessing you responded to the wrong post because I have no clue what this has to do with my comment about locker room space.

I think with the womens game growing in popularity and getting the love it deserves one great season where we are top 10 for a while and we'll be a 5k average attendance program and not look back.

Everyone else is getting better but I think we're definitely a have got vs have not program.

More double headers just make the tickets GA for the opposite sports when the first game ends.

I've heard that one downside to the immense growth in popularity of the WNBA this year is that long time season ticket holders have gotten whalloped with insane 400-500% price increases for next year across the league. Feel bad for those fans hopefully they can move back 2-3 rows and renew at a close price. Wish I had a local team to get tickets to.

Ugh I can't believe that we don't have dedicated locker rooms for MBB and WBB. The Dome being a Dome and well bigger should provide ample room for each to have their own. I'm sure FB locker room takes up a ton of space and they do go off the field towards the BB end IDK why theirs couldn't be built on the other side.

I don't think I've ever been below the 100 level concourse at the Dome come to think of it apart from obviously walking around the court/field. Even home to the dome way back when.

The women and men’s teams have played double headers before. It’s not a new idea. Hasn’t worked out well. I remember arguments on the men’s basketball forum about it despite free admission if they stayed after the men’s game. Misogyny still exists.

That’s a terrible use of that term.
Just because some may prefer to watch men’s basketball more than women’s basketball does not mean they hate women.
The mis-use and over use of terms devalues the term.
A particularly egregious example is referring to people as Nazis. Doing so diminishes the horrors they inflicted and detracts from the history of the Jews who suffered at their hands.

We were told it is the issue by Dome Operations.
Might be because for NCAAs you have four men’s teams and you can segment off one large football size room to share between one team post game and another pregame.
Two men’s and two women’s teams makes it more problematic. Don’t think you would want to share locker room space with a competitor pregame.

I don’t know what prompted this post. Where did I or anyone use the term Nazi’s? Talk about over reaction and mis-use of terms including a very strange analogy in your post. It’s quite the insult. More than interesting having a male defining misogyny. If you had read those old threads, you would have seen examples, not all, but definitely enough to be troubling. I said misogyny exists, not that all men who didn’t attend the women’s games were. If I don’t prefer something, I don’t care enough to rant about it in posts. You took offense and became defensive in a thread elsewhere when some people didn’t like, didn’t “prefer” lawyers because you are one.

What would you think if fans of lawyers said they just didn’t like male lawyers and would post a mini rant how they would never hire one? There’s an analogy - nothing regarding Nazis. Back to ways to increase attendance.
