It seems like people are hard-wired one of two ways on this kind of stuff:
1) The "if you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'" crowd, and
2) People that think integrity matters in all things, at all times.

That's not on Bruce, it's on the players (and the ref). And this is far, far from the first time a player who wasn't fouled tried to step to the line to shoot the foul shots; it just happened to work this time. Unsportsmanlike? Yes. Charleston's players/staff should have noticed and said something and the refs should have reviewed it if they did.

The no-call on the 3 point shot was the more egregious error.

I suppose someone like that would be a third category, but personally, I'd be embarrassed and disappointed if Syracuse did it.

I would be very embarassed if syracuse did this. I wouldnt try to excuse it. I call a spade a spade
