I don't dislike him. Credit him with some positive moments. But in the roundtable dies he actually impart any useful information? He makes for a decent roundtable analyst tbh. Well spoken and has his folksy analogies. Easy listening when he's not losing by 20+
He’s more listenable than some of those other guys. Hey Jimbo, spit it out already. He makes for a decent roundtable analyst tbh. Well spoken and has his folksy analogies. Easy listening when he's not losing by 20+
Not really. He just asks us to close our eyes.I don't dislike him. Credit him with some positive moments. But in the roundtable dies he actually impart any useful information?
From where he started to what he left, people should be greatful. The roster was in better shape than what he walked into. The way some talk about Dino you think he was grob... He got us to back to back bowls in last two years, was he great, no, but he did get the program stabilized and watchable.
If he could’ve figured out how to have an offensive line he would’ve done fine. Not playoff caliber but I believe if he had a line for devito & shredder he could’ve had us as a consistent bowl team. I liked him as an ambassador for our program. TBH I feel like he was just tired of the new landscape of college football and gave up to a degree. The way some talk about Dino you think he was grob... The only thing he did was talk a good game. He never had a culture or an ethic other than sweet talk. We were lucky to have shraeder and some others in the later years that left and we are starting to suffer now. But to be honest NIL didn’t help on the last.If he could’ve figured out how to have an offensive line he would’ve done fine. He had the defense in the right position for success , we had some skill players. Schrader was not a bad qb at all , just always running for his life and getting injured. The only thing he did was talk a good game. He never had a culture or an ethic other than sweet talk. Don’t disagree for the latter years. He had the defense in the right position for success , we had some skill players. Schrader was not a bad qb at all , just always running for his life and getting injured.
Dino could be pretty good at a job like that. I wouldn't expect any deep analysis, but he'll be up-beat and will certainly laugh at his own jokes. He’s more listenable than some of those other guys. Hey Jimbo, spit it out already.
He always complained that SU didn't give him enough resources to be successful. The only thing he did was talk a good game. He never had a culture or an ethic other than sweet talk. He seemed to make excuses and stop trying. He always complained that SU didn't give him enough resources to be successful.

Pro- Orange, like Mr Cigar?Good for Dino. I agree he left the program better when he found it. Left Fran with a group of good vets too.
It was time to move on but he wasn't as bad as some say.
Let's be happy we may have an ACC analyst be a little pro-Orange.
True. The way some talk about Dino you think he was grob... He got us to back to back bowls in last two years, was he great, no, but he did get the program stabilized and watchable.
Was he wrong? He always complained that SU didn't give him enough resources to be successful.
Probably not but did he seem like a Coach that deserved such valuable resources? Was he wrong?
Meh. You try to give your coach competitive resources if you want to win. Not doing so sets everyone up for failure. Would he have capitalized on them? There was a time I would have said yes. Looking back, once Sean Lewis left I think the answer is no.Probably not but did he seem like a Coach that deserved such valuable resources?
Once upon a time yes thanks to Mr Dungey but it was very clear he was checked out during covid and beyond.
I really can't blame him for that either. I would like to see how he does on the ole TV, Id think pretty good.
