Back to the old drawing board for UCONN

its good to see the board in mid-season 5th grade form.

unnecessary daily insults of a 3x National Champion, who also happens to be the current defending one.

followed by much childish giddyness.

i fully expect a court storming after beating seton hall this week.

go get em boys.

Oh Lord
spot on kaiser

Nice, we are already expecting wins!

The thread is pretty funny, but I'm sure we've had some pretty funny threads in the past.

I am a little worried about UConn. We are definitely better than they are right now, I hope that is true in March as well. I think they are going to end up the second best team in the conference, at worst.

I had this discussion with my uncle (a UConn fan) the other day;

UConn's top 3 scorers are: Lamb (SG), Napier (PG) and Drummond (C).
Is Lamb better than Triche? Yeah probably. Is Napier better than Scoop? Eh. Is Drummond than Melo? Jury is still out.

Up next for UConn you have: Boatright, Oriahki, then ?. Olander, Daniels, Roscoe Smith, Giffey.
Up next for us: Joseph, Waiters, Southerland, Fair, MCW, Xmas, BMK.

They can talk about being the defending champs all they want, it doesn't have to do with this year. Hell, I've seen posters on boneyard who've said this years team is better than last years.

Lots of pubescent ranting, for sure. UConn went on an unworldly post season run. Although, if you remember what Pitino said to the refs in the BET ["Hey, he's doesn't need to get every call--he's not Jordan."].

But, just for giggles, let's speculate on what might have happened last season if the NCAA had any balls, and gave the Huskies a proper penalty. After all, Calhoun, et.al., violated NCAA rules, so they should have had an NCAA penalty: The coach suspended for 3 NCAA Tournament games.
Wonder how things might have turned out then?
