Bad times

I mean 12 months and 2 weeks ago we were ranked and we have 3 winnable home games up next with a bye after GT and hopefully fans for Liberty and Duke.

Devito is probably the best QB on the roster right now but also the worst fit for doing more with less. At this point.

Some guys are late bloomers but more often than not if your gonna be good you are good as a freshmen. So we need to quickly identify who is the best of Summers/Morgan/Dillon M.

Devito hasn't thrown any passes as awful and inaccurate as Rex 3rd and 4th down misses by miles. Maybe the screen but remember for the second straight play the DE was coming full speed completely untouched.
 
Oh and the Offensive Coordinator needs to be fired on Monday. Our D improved last year when we made a change.

How about the multiple deep throws he threw out of bounds against UNC , where our receiver had a guy beat and all he had to do was throw it up for him in the middle of the field . Sorry I disagree

TD also hasn't thrown any as nice as the one Rex threw for the TD, so there's also that.

fsu isnt very good either , unfortunately we arent playing them this year

weve either competed w or beat these teams in recent memory. So one year and we go fcs. Even if we suck for the next ten years, we arent goong fcs. Stop being an imbecile. It shouldntbe that hard.

whether he was talking about devito or not, Babers said he’s going to look at film and if change is needed it will happen. I just can’t believe a d1 qb can throw for 32 yards in 4 full quarters
 
If there is one thing that’s for sure, we need to start getting all the young kids who appear to be our future as much playing time as possible. It’s about next year already.
 
During my tenure on Cuse Fan Council with Mark Coyle/John Cunningham/Anthony Difino we spent the majority of our time coming up with ideas on how to improve the fan experience and creating a buzz around the football program which would result in an uptick in season ticket sales. I was thrilled with some of the ideas we came up with but we all knew that winning was going to solve a lot of these problems.

Although I was no longer on the council I was so happy for Anthony Difino and the rest of the council members that the fruits of our labor came true with the “Cuse On The Quad“ tent, improved concessions and fan experiences inside the dome, and to top it all off we had the much needed 10 win season that re-energized the SU football fan base. Season ticket sales went through the roof in 2019 but the play on the field was not up to par.

I am sick to my stomach that the football program is more than likely only going to win one or two game in 2020, the good will created during the 10 win season will be gone, season ticket sales are going to decline dramatically in 2021, and the Cuse Fan Council is going to be back to square one having to come up with new ideas on how to create a buzz about the SU football program.

When Dino was hired I thought we hit the jackpot. We finally had a coach who was going to open up the offense and utilize the dome to our advantage. Now after five years we have one of the worst offenses in the the ACC or for that matter the entire Power 5.

I honestly don’t know what the answer is. Our coach now has access to a private jet for recruiting, the IPF is a first class facility, the dome is undergoing a major renovation, and $25 million has been donated by a former player to make even more improvements to the football facilities but will Dino or any other coach be able to convince 4 or 5 star athletes to come to Syracuse to play football in the future?
Is our program going to be known as a career killer for any up and coming football coach if Dino Babers could not win here after his success with other mid major programs?
