Good job getting ink on paper by the staff. Looks like it didn't go south. And with the handful of transfer there is room to take a full class, and hopefully get immediate help at places of need through transfer or JUCO.

The Mass exodus hasn't occurred, the recruiting class held, key 5th and 6th year players are re-upping.

Despite all the hearsay, rumours, and speculation there hasn't be a program meltdown.

Real self scouting and reexamination of their approach on offense needs to be done, but at least in my opinion the roster 1-85 is in as good a place as it has been in a long time. Some position groups are stronger and deeper than others, but the elements are on the team to be very competitive next year.

We'll see if the staff can step up the development of kids, have a productive spring, and shake off the last two seasons.

For as much griping there has been about lack of team chemistry I think it says something that so many kids are coming back next year and that the incoming class stayed intact. At least we know who wants to be in the program.

Agree completely with you on the self assessments and developing the kids from here. However, safe to say the cupboards are not bare.

I will say, I have to eat some crow. I assumed we were losing a ton of kids especially from things that I talked about with people that were/are very close to the program.

However, I’m happy to see a majority of this team stay together. I think they have potential to grow together and develop something by next season.

People bitch and moan when things are rough. It's always easy to pass on the poison. It's natural that people vent, doesn't mean they are going to quit their jobs.

Doesn't mean morale has cratered and the team is going to disintegrate.
