I've been somewhat following recruiting since Louie and Bouie. Seems like we used to bat around 250 for high ranking recruits. Over the last decade seems like we are batting around 100.

ACC has little if anything to do with it, as has been discussed ad nauseam at this point. Kids can play in every conference they want regardless of their geographic location. Things driving change: Southern schools are on the rise as kids go from public high schools to southern prep schools (much better and consistent access for coaches). old guard coaches are retiring. Syracuse lost their top recruiter. Those are drivers, not the ACC
