Forget about points, I wish Battle got to play 8 or 9 years ago on teams that knew how to outlet off rebounds. That kid is automatic one on one in the open court. Dion Waiters doesn't even compare.
Agreed, he would've been a monster on those teams. MCW would've averaged 12 assists/game just from outlets.

Pretty exclusive club.
Exactly, I think it's cool because he's now reached the spot on the list where arguably everybody on the list was a better basketball player. Battle's put up good numbers to join such a club.

Interesting that everyone on that list ahead of him except Bing, Owens and Devo played 4 years to accumulate their numbers. Regardless of how much game time that translates to it’s one additional offseason to work on improving their game and gaining confidence.

If he happens to come back next year I wonder if you’ll look at the four year Battle and still think most everyone on the list was better. I tend to think our memories of who and what a particular SU player we’re tend to be heavily colored by their final season on the Hill. For example Seikaly is remembered more like the dominant center that he was as a senior then the guy who missed dunks, fouled anything that moved in the paint and didn’t dominate anyone as a frosh or sophomore.

Excellent point.

If (and I don't think he will) he came back, finished consistently with his left, continued his current trajectory of passing the ball, and cooled down the petulant act when he didn't get a call, that's all we'd remember: the well-rounded senior. If that were to happen, he'd jump over guys like Fair, Johnson, Seikaly, Devendorf, and maybe even Shumpert and McNamara in my book.

I haven't paid as much attention to the board this year as I usually do, is the general thinking that Battle is headed to the NBA even though he's likely a late 2nd rounder/potentially undrafted guy or do we think he'll just stay for his 4th year at this point given how low his stock is?

And along the same lines, what are people generally thinking about Brissett at this point in terms of staying or leaving? I don't imagine he has much of a chance of being drafted right now but -shrugs-

Yeah, I don't know where Thick Brisket would go really.

Battle is interesting to think about. Isn't he graduating? If so, can't fault the dude for going after a job, since, you know, that's what people do when they graduate. But his NBA prospects don't seem great.

Agreed. At this point, I don’t see why he wouldn’t come back.
That'd be a really cool career arc: possible one and done out of high school, almost out the door after his sophomore year, definitely out the door going into his junior year, then becomes the school's all-time leading scorer and one of its five most popular players.
