You're wrong, the system has to have a special QB, they have to be able to read, and make all the correct throws. There aren't enough good QB's who can make those throws. The ones who can go to places like OhioSt, Notre Dame, LSU, Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Georgia, Miami, Florida St, Clemson, Oregon, Mississippi St, and other schools like that.

I think you are right…but also wonder if a decisive QB within any Air Raid-esque offense could be a strong 2nd/3rd string.

Partially because I don’t think this staff has much desire to develop at the QB position the way they used them.

It was Collins 2nd game. There was reason for slight optimism. Took Angeli nearly 2 games to really get rolling.

I get it. But we’ve all watched a lot of football in our lives. Angeli’s first couple games and Collins first couple games weren’t comparable. Collins looked abysmal right out of the gate. Sometimes you just know.
