One of the problems for B.C. is that they don't blink on their academic requirements. The old saying is that B.C. wants to be Harvard Sunday to Friday and Nebraska on Saturday.Great hire for BC. If they have a lick of NIL and can get some players, they could have a fun offense.
I think he would be Syracuse head coach if GMac had not performed so well in NCAA tournament. So very surprised. I thought he could do a lot better than that. B.C. couldn't
Was Lucas before he went from Duke to Miami?
That’s a fantastic hireActually, a pretty great hire for them. He's got the name and moxie to change the perception of Boston College. Still, we better be better than them lol.
HopefullyIs the Boneyard having a full-blown meltdown? I'm too lazy to check.
not really. Is the Boneyard having a full-blown meltdown? I'm too lazy to check.

I'm also surprised that it was announced while UConn is still in the thick of the NCAA Tourney. So very surprised. I thought he could do a lot better than that. B.C. couldn't
B.C. turned down a Kennedy that was admitted to Cal. It is why Jim O'Brien left years back.Of course they do. Sure it's all relative, but the academic admission standard for a recruited athlete is lower than a regular admitted student. Just as it is for the Ivys, Stanford, Rice, NESCAC, etc.
I'm sure theu won't be admitting some of the kids that a school like Louisville will take, but there are plenty of kids out there they could grab, and they only need to find 10-15.
IDK. If he does well, he’s a genius and will move up. If he doesn’t, it’s BC. No one does well there.big gamble for him

Stanford, no. We have had at least 1 FB player in the past because was denied admission to Stanford.Of course they do. There is no question, it is a great offense. It's been on tape now for a very long time. It's common knowledge for everyone who takes the time to study it. The real art here is not the offense per se. It's much more about the ability to teach the players the concepts and getting them to efficiently execute those concepts in game situations. That's coaching acumen. Of course, you also then have to have the talent to take advantage of the opportunities the offense provides. If we were sitting on that many titles and top 10-15 year in year out again we could all die happy living through an incredible run of SU hoops. I doubt much bothers them these days around a coach leaving. By now that intellectual capital Murray brought to their offense is common knowledge for nutjob Hurley and that staff.
He just needs to do ok, get his feet wet, and then he can move on to greener pastures.Unless Murray got a rock solid commitment from BC for $10M annual NIL this is such a bad decision on his part. Hasn't been administration or fan support for the hoops program for decades. Graveyard for coaches.
