A steal by BC early in OT turned into a 4 on 2 for them and ended with a slam. I knew we were done at that point. How do you get out hustled in OT?

Yep, my wife thinks I’m Nostradamus. The last 17 seconds of regulation I called exactly what was going to happen which then did, then after that dunk in OT said we’re done and shut the TV off.

We are not an exceptionally athletic team. JJ (who has other problems), Donnie and Kyle are the only elite athletes. The rest have issues (lack of strength or height or quickness or explosiveness) that limit them.

More than that, they are the simplest of unforced errors in passing, ball handling and straight up running.

I feel like if I put myself in their shoes they do that when they are overthinking and unsure of the game plan.

What I saw out there today is no semblance of a team. It’s a combination of parts that are not complimenting one another. That is coaching. We allowed a bad team to dictate the game and out hustle us on every possession from the 14:00 min mark of the first half. I am not going to call any players out by name because we already know who they are. They played like crap and cost us this game. Ever hear of valuing the ball? Ever hear of feeding the hot hand? We wasted so many possessions and then didn’t hustle on D. It’s embarrassing for a D1 team with this much talent to look that inept. I hope Wildhack is making his calls because it’s time. This experiment is over, and I feel bad for the players who desperately want leadership and confidence but get neither.

There needs to be an entire overhaul of the BOT, they are the ones responsible for allowing JB to overstay his time here, and if there isn't a shakeup their everything will stay the same.

Bingo, the only way you lose a game like this in the way they did is a dip in preparation.
