It’s the set we run. Its intentional and it’s badI think it's c. Bell lets himself get lost out there too often, but we do see Choppa and Taylor float to the corners a lot too.

I can't disagree. It’s the set we run. Its intentional and it’s bad
He gets his groove back he'd average 20+ at that level.Headed to Siena
When your centers are setting the screens it’s really the only place to go.I can't disagree.
He has shown tho that he isn't the most intuitive player either.
But I suspect it is primarily the offensive set.

They run a flare screen set for Bell and sometimes Choppa, and it works well. Shields has shown this in his substack recaps. But they don’t run it often enough and don’t always execute it properly. Bell has become very listless out there. It’s the set we run. Its intentional and it’s bad
Remember, that was against our defense. He could score at will against our transition defense.Trust me I was too. I went to 3 practices before season started and I saw him miss 1 three pointer in each of the three practices. 1! I thought he was going to sky rocket this year. Wild
Alan Griffin started out really well his one season with us, and was a shell of a player by the end of the season. That's a close-ish comp.An honest question... what player in recent history has regressed more one year to the next than Bell? It's really mind boggling how bad it is. As frustrated I am with his play, I do feel for the guy. This must be an absolute nightmare scenario he could have never imagined.
He seems like more of the kind of shooter who shoots much better when his feet are set, not so well shooting after moving, just my observance.I mean, he isn't exactly running all over the court trying to get open.
I respect the commitment.I have been thinking, it might be as simple as Bell needs JJ out there.
While JJ was playing, Bell wasn't shooting a great percentage from three, but he was showing some driving ability and was getting to the free throws line.
His game really fell off a cliff shortly after JJ went out.
Those are probably related things.

I think it's fair to say that JJ would help create more open looks for him. However, he was really struggling with his 3pt shot before JJ went out. Against the first 3 weak teams of the season (Le Moyne, Colgate, and Youngstown State) he shot only 4 for 18 (22%). Overall, he shot 28% from deep with JJ.I have been thinking, it might be as simple as Bell needs JJ out there.

. He is so different from Joe, Gmac, Devo and many others. You can just see it.
Like the optimism but I think Taylor is more likely. Lucas has made 8 in his last 3 games to Bell's 11 for the season. Yikes. He is hitting at least 5 threes today versus FSU
I hope your right.. But with fsu quickness I don't see him even getting to take 5 shots.. I hope I'm wrongHe is hitting at least 5 threes today versus FSU
I doubt you will be wrong, unless he hits one early. He's only taken 4 shots from deep in the last THREE games.I hope your right.. But with fsu quickness I don't see him even getting to take 5 shots.. I hope I'm wrong
like i saidbell needs a pg like judah to draw the defense
jj will help revive him
