Not ai lol
Sorry, man, not a shot at you. I'm just referencing how many times recently that i have questioned or corrected AI, and AI's response has been something like, "You're right. Good of you to push back on that. I shouldn't have represented what i said with such a high degree of confidence, without verifying the facts."

Infuriating!

Prior to 2025-26, he averaged 26.5 wins over the previous 3 years, and made the tournament every year at Marquette. Was that not acceptable, or do you hold Marquette to a higher standard?
Yikes, I really didn’t mean to upset you so much. Shaka’s method worked till he wasn’t able to have apt replacements for three of his 3 to 4 year starters whose eligibility ran out after 2024-2025 while other programs were filling their voids with transfers. As I said I admired his philosophy but don’t you think there was a reason why he’s changing and adjusting it this year forward? He was 7-13 in conference this past year, his only losing conference record and 7th standing, also his worse in the Big East. It’s no reflection on his coaching ability but it’s a new world to be able to consistently compete now without using the transfer portal.

Shaka has done well at Marquette. His refusal to use the transfer portal was a major miscalculation. What's even more interesting is they will not hire a GM. Marquette is a school that invests a lot in basketball. It will be interesting to see how things play out for them.

I was looking for a good character name for something I’m writing. Nevada Smith is a great name
Yellowstone: Marshalls already borrowed my board handle for a main character name, so I’d agree that Nevada Smith is a strong backup plan. 😎

That’s what’s so confusing about what’s going on there in Milwaukee. If anything you would’ve thought a school like them would’ve been ahead of the curve considering the spending they put into the program, like you mentioned. I’m not up to date the last few years but they had consistently been a top 10 program when it comes to expenses and being a non-football school it’s all weird how backwards thinking they’ve been.
