Best cover versions of a song

It's only about a 75% cover (she takes over about a minute in), but I always liked the places that Mary J. Blige took U2's One.

Don't @ me.

A bunch of really good ones...

Orgy was a joke of a group, but that cover was really good. No idea how they pulled it off.

That's pretty wild.

Some guy on Facebook once went off on me for suggesting that the Replacements had rescued this insipid little ditty from musical hell.

Opening this thread, this is the first song that popped into my head. It is completely random considering I probably haven’t heard it in 20 years or more. It was big in the 90’s at some point, and I don’t think we ever heard from Ugly Kid Joe again lol

Speaking of Norah Jones, she does a nice cover of this Tom Waits song.

A bit OT, but other than Suicide is Painless (M*A*S*H), this is one of the best sitcom themes ever, IMO.
That really is a great song. It was written and performed for the show by Sonny Curtis, one of Buddy Holly's Crickets. He also wrote "I Fought the Law." The Clash did a nice cover of that one...
