Better without Southerland?

Triche and MCW can make the same mistakes repeatedly and stay on the floor, but Cooney and Grant make a mistake, and they get the hook.

Grant's confidence looks like it's shot, which is a shame because he had been playing so well during JS's absence.

Yeah, JB pulled him after 30 seconds or something today. Why bother starting him if he makes one mistake and is pulled?

Southerland hit wide open shots he should. But his defense SUCKED. He turned he ball over twice late and he can't rebound. We need to play Jerami too...JS is a one dimensional player. Period...

He tied for our leading rebounder today with MCW.

We are not better without James, but we ARE better when Jerami gets meaningful minutes. James stretches the floor even when he's not hitting. Grant, on the other hand, does literally everything else better. We need both of them to win.

That is exactly what I've been trying to say...thank you

And he gave up 3-4 offensive rebounds...

So he grabbed ~60-70% of defensive rebounds in his area. I'm not saying he's stellar at rebounding but if we had a few more guys that could get that we wouldn't even be discussing it because we'd be winning.

Our 3 most productive players essentially play the same position. CJ, Southy, and Grant are all 3/4 tweeners with limited handles to keep them from playing the 2 and not enough thick(burger)ness to play the 5. It's a hell of predicament to be in and not sure there is an answer. Either Rak, BMK, or DC2 need to show up or we're toast.
