The cat is out of the bag. The Big Ten isn't scared of Covid.
They are scared of players unionizing.

The SEC and ACC aren't worried about that it appears.

Thus the Big Ten wanted unanimity so they could it make it appear like this is Covid related.
It will be interesting to see what the Big XII does. That IMO will determine what the SEC and ACC do.

The B1G an PAC 12 have always been the biggest hindrance to reform. The ACC, Big 12 and SEC should embrace unionization and allowing the players to have a major voice as stakeholders and move on without the other two conferences.

Southern and flyover states embracing unionization?

You're talking about all the right to work states. The ones with the lowest % of union workers in the US.

In other news, Rutgers joins Uconn in the ACC bid rejection club :)

Theyll embrace anything which will give them an edge in recruiting.

These are the same people who love Medicare but hate government run healthcare. They have no problems with cognitive dissonance.

No the conferences should make their decision based on public health.

Scott Frost at Nebraska said they will find a way to play games even if the Big 10 cancels the season. There’s mutiny happening in the Big 10.

.

acc is going forward with playing
Hypothetically... suppose a campus welcomes students back and within 2-3 weeks they have an outbreak.

And that outbreak coincides with when the first game kicks off.

Is that enough to cancel the season?

depends on your defination of outbreak. is it enough to close there campus and return to online only learning? if campus stays open then games should continue
