Biggest game since Missouri in 2012

The line seeks to get 50% betting on FSU and 50% betting on SU - it is not how LV sees the game on the field - strictly speaking.

The line moves of course when the betting public assesses the game.

The betting community sees FSU winning the game.

And that's the right call when one considers the home field advantage and the athletes of both teams.
Ok, let me rephrase then: Vegas thinks the betting public will think we're the better team ;)

The betting community is actually on Syracuse. 60% of the bets have come in on Syracuse. That means the big money has come in on FSU

Ish, I think you get an undeserved bad rap around here, but this is an incredbly poor post on your part. Being optimistic isn't being delusional, the same way that being a defeatist pessimist isn't being enlightened.

We just had a bye week, where we were able to physically recuperate and watch extra film on our opponent. Said opponent got annihilated by BC last weekend. So which team do you believe is in a more advantageous position heading into tomorrow's game?

Nobody said the game was going to be easy. But some of you are ready to roll over and play dead as soon as the going gets tough. I think that we can and will win tomorrow -- and if we don't, the season isn't over, nor are our bowl hopes lost. That I believe that we have a CHANCE to win this game--at Florida State, on the road--is a testimony to how far this program has come.

"Delusional" my a$$. How quickly some of you have forgotten that we just beat the #2 ranked defending national champions two weeks ago.

Way to call me out, you make plenty of sense RF. i guess i using the D word was a culmination of a week of hearing way too much 8-4 talk with ED coming off his worst collegiate game. FSU has been playing like that monster with its head cut off(the qb). The D is still very talented and this is a tough game. We have a tough schedule. I love the optimism but talk of this game as a must win, i will never understand.

All I know is that Scott Shafer were the HC I wouldn’t be expecting a win or a competitive performance tomorrow.
My god the passive aggressive put downs on the team are a joke.
Florida State lost 35-3 to Boston College and have a banged up QB.

We should expect to win this game.

Why in the world would SS come up in this discussion?

Cause I like taking shots at how bad SS was and thankful he is gone and never going to be around the Syracuse program.

BC jumped them, FSU made mistakes when they had multiple chances to stay in the game and eventually they quit. At home it will be much harder unless they crowd gets on them for making mistakes.

Precisely, BC jumped them like we jumped clemson and over the years wvu and the ville. That happens in cfb. Less talented teams "JUMP" more talented teams in cfb, its a phenomenon.

Have at it and live in the past. This thread is about just how over confident some on this board have become after a huge win. A win i enjoyed and loved. Yes, we are improved vastly, mostly on D. Its awesome to see. But all the 8-4 talk with ED coming off 4 picks is flat out delusional and that we should expect to win today? We need to beat wake and BC. After the MTSU debacle and our brutal schedule, 6-6 would be a statement. Hope ED is ok, go CUSE!

Exactly. "Delusional" is a ridiculous label. I'll say it again...This isn't the same FSU everyone thought they were going to be in the preseason, and it's much more then just not having Francoise. Their team is basically eating themselves from the inside out. Their are players in open rebellion against Jimbo. There are some that think he lost the team. 35-7 vs BC is a lot more than missing Francois. Blackmon is a terrible QB. Akers is good, but he's not Patrick. FSU has an OK defense, but they aren't on the same level of Clemson, NC ST, Miami, or LSU. This game is a step down from those 4 and how did we fare against them? I really hope Syracuse pulls this one out because this team gets no where near the respect that they deserve. This is easily the best team we have had since 2012, and before that you can go back another 8 years. This is a very winnable game, that I will be disappointed if we don't capitalize.

Side note: No team has beat both Clemson and FSU in the same year since UNC in 2010. Would love to add Syracuse to that.

So, going back to the "disappointed" bit, are you? I'm not. Dam proud in fact (no not of Cole ;))

Very disappointed. I felt we were the better team.

Right with you, bro. Very disappointed too ... just busting chops. This one should've gone OT. Thought it'd be ours for the taking. Oh well. Now, if we don't win 2 of the next 3, that WILL be disappointing.
