Bills 2024 Thread - Misery loves company

Someone needs to explain to me What Johnson was doing on that Hail Mary besides getting shamed

I have absolutely no idea what he was doing, zero. Why wasn't Coleman out there his specialty is jump balls no?

I'll be that guy. Thought the end of half alignment was right. Would rather take my chances on a Hail Mary than rush 4 & give up an easy 8yd out & FG. You've just got to defend that crap better. Can't believe it didn't cost us the game.
Taylor Rapp where did that come from.

Agreed on Hail Mary.

Agreed but we've lost that game 8 out of 10 times the last 25+ years so I'll take it over the alternative. That said this team has a ton to work on. Have to get another WR in here and another safety. Still have no trust in a McDermott Defense in a big spot.
Like someone else said, that is only because we were facing the jets and only their crap karma supersedes ours

I don’t know if he has much experience taking care of younger kids but if there’s one guy I would want to supervise my kids at an amusement park, it’s Coleman .., cause he’d never get separated from them

The roughing call on AJ was one of the worst officiating calls across all sports in my recent memory

There are two sentient adults, I believe the Head Referee and Umpire, that watched this Sack as well as the perfect pancake block by Brown and threw 15 yard penalties on the Bills. This simply can't happen

If the NFL weren't a corrupt organization there would be an investigation of those two individuals, in my opinion

I guess I can't be too upset with the game results from this season.

4-2 with a loss to Houston that really was our D- effort offensively, and we lost on a ridiculously long FG on the road to a division leader. That's probably what we should have expected given our 3 straight road games.

Tough thing to stomach is the really porous defense. Last night, we were only missing Ed Oliver and we got gashed, especially in the passing game.

The Bills and SU football have a lot of parallels. Offense is really the only thing that's keeping it afloat - defense has a lot of questions but is opportunistic, and special teams stink.

I'd say the Bills offense is way more the concern.

Only because the defense is so bad and the offense needs to be relied upon so much. It's a lot of pressure. And they played a good defense last night.

Also, I think we came out of last night relatively unscathed injury wise.

Hoping Oliver & Cook can work their way back in the next week or two.

And then Milano...

I don’t know. They are pretty undisciplined. We were running the ball down their throats then just went away from it and kept starting drives 1st and more than 10
When did we go away from it? Even on the last drive the first play was a run? Getting behind the chains was more because of penalties than anything else. I do agree this team lost discipline last night though.

This team will win 10/11 games, win the AFC east, win a wild card game and lose to the Chiefs in the divisional round game at Arrowhead.

Josh plus the existing talent on O and D (and yes there is talent) puts the floor at 10 wins. The lack of receiving talent will force this team to grind out games and points which puts the ceiling at 12 wins max. Of course an injury here or there could change all this.

Not bad for a "rebuild" year... but man they need to give Josh some real weapons or we are wasting the prime of his career. And I still have ZERO faith in McD to stop a good team who has the ball and is driving for the win at the end of a game.

Between the 3 CB's and Bernard showing last yr wasn't a fluke and Von not being totally washed, I've got to feel at least as good about the defense as before the season. Really the one ? that looks like a problem is Safety. Hamlin looks rough out there.

True on the Special Teams parallels. Remember when they were both always good. They run out a kickoff they're at the 40, we do it and barely make the 25, or worse with a penalty. Crappy punts and coverage. Sick of it.

Not sure how good they are without 2 of their 3 best CBs. Seemed like the WRs still had a tough time getting open. They've got to get a Dionte Johnson or somebody.

He hates the jets. He will never coach for them with their history
agreed there, he made it very clear last night on the manning cast that he despises the Jets. I think he's going to coach next year for sure but it won't be the Jets

The first half of the manning cast when BB was on was must watch . Lean more about football in a few minutes listening to those 3 talk than in 40 years of watching regular broadcasts

The Bills are definitely rebuilding on the fly and clearly the milano injury has hurt and need serious help at safety and a WR that can open things up down the field. As most teams they have been hit with other injuries as well. Hopefully the can make a move(s) that will help but I am not so sure that they can beat Baltimore or KC on the road this year, let alone back to back. That said, they will be in the playoffs most likely with a chance, it's really not as bad as many make it out to be. Are they a great team? far from it but nobody really thought they would be this year.

Oh and I agree Bass probably should just be cut if they want to try and win a couple playoff games. Have to just eat it.

I love it. It's entertaining and like you said really informative. I don't watch the regular broadcast at all when they are on

It’s gets annoying when they bring on the celebrities on games where I’m really interested in watching. But when BB is zoned in on the game , it’s a gold mine

It’s one thing to miss some kicks. It’s another thing to flat out shank on the regular

lol. Idiots . They are not a WR away from anything . Terrible contract. Potentially washed player

I know the last two years are non-guaranteed so the Jets can release him with no dead cap or re-negotiate but only the Jets agree to take on teh balance of this years salary - 11mill + when they have all the leverage. Dude had no other realistic landing place and the Jets still took on all of the salary. Horrific
