I mean that this specific game , had we successfully punted it, they were going to drive right down for 6+1. There was no extra possession gained by the block as we were punting
It was the first half. They had the lead . It wouldn’t really have changed how they approached anything .It still made it a 2 possession game that soon which changed how both teams approached the game.
Imagine if the Rams had to go to a straight drop back game to win the game at the end

it matters not as much as it usually would matterIt affects game script. It matters
I’m surprised it wasn’t short , hit a birds back that was flying along .. and the bird flew it across the goalpostsKC is the luckiest team in the history of pro sports.
I was wondering why Harbaugh didn't wait to use the timeouts until after the warning. Why would harbaufh call a TO on a third and half a yard ?
True but to be fair, those wideouts are both elite when healthy.I just don’t think I’ve ever seen a game where multiple receivers made as many stupid catches as the rams did yesterday . That was some Haley’s comet bs. They’ll probably get caved in Thursday
Yeah. But how often is that .True but to be fair, those wideouts are both elite when healthy.
Yesterday.Yeah. But how often is that .
The only thing that matters now is what the Bills do in the playoffs. They will be either the 2 or 3 seed as it looks. Probably the 2. Really doesn't matter much. We all know what the expectations are at this point, it won't be very difficult to say successful or not successful at the end of the year for me. Get to the Super Bowl, win or lose the season is a success, IMO and yes they have overachieved so far in the regular season and people can complain all they want win or lose Sunday but at the end of the day we know what is going to be remembered and what the goal is at this point. This might sound crazy, but I don't think the Bills/Lions game will end up being all that important to Buffalo.
Obviously nothing is guaranteed, but even with a loss there, I'm pretty confident the Bills will end up being the 2 seed in the AFC. They have three layup games to finish the season with Patriots, Jets, Patriots. Catching KC is probably unlikely at this point, and the Steelers have a brutal upcoming schedule with Eagles/Ravens/Chiefs.
Pretty much agree with everything you just wrote except that the 2 or 3 seed "doesn't matter much." HUGE difference between hosting say the Ravens in a divisional round game and having to go to Baltimore where they got murdered earlier in the year. The only thing that matters now is what the Bills do in the playoffs. Game should be a shoot out on Sunday whoever can get a couple timely stops will most likely win but at the end of the day, nobody will care in January. In addition, I don't think there are any lay up games in the NFL with regard to the final 3 games.
I still don't think the Bills have changed a bit on defense. The issues that have plagued them for years are still there just a question if they can get away with it to win the AFC
That isn't happening. Ravens already have 5 losses. I'd just like to avoid Baltimore altogether.Pretty much agree with everything you just wrote except that the 2 or 3 seed "doesn't matter much." You're right -- my bad. That isn't happening. Ravens already have 5 losses. I'd just like to avoid Baltimore altogether.
I hear ya but it won't change expectations was my point.Pretty much agree with everything you just wrote except that the 2 or 3 seed "doesn't matter much."
