Bills 2024 Thread - Misery loves company

Idk, KC felt vulnerable last season too and I think the 13 seconds year was probably the best Bills team. The OL this year is an admittedly big difference though; hopefully it's enough to get Buffalo to the promised land.

Think our defense is significantly worse than years past but they've been able to come up with a lot of takeaways to stay afloat; we'll see if that continues today but KC has generally taken excellent care of the ball this season (though the same could be said for Baltimore until last week).
Without Rice they really have no big play ability. I know it seems counterproductive, but if I
am Buffalo I almost want them to throw long. And I realize the back end may be the weakest part of the Buffalo D.

Hoping young Bishop recognizes shiit.

Nick Wright and all these former Chiefs players and media types going nuts about Shefters tweets today about the Mahomes penalties and trying to gin up some talking point for KC to feel disrespected and play harder is so Kansas City it's laughable
I give credit to Nick for finding his niche and being successful, but he is also an insult to all the real broadcasters and journalists who came out of Newhouse.

Agreed. I mean the chiefs went 15-1 in the regular season, they are 2 games away from a 3 peat. They are still the chiefs and win every close game imaginable with Mahomes. It’s a huge hurdle to cross. It’s also on the road. bills can lose 1,000 different ways but I think they need to be up 2 scores with under 5 minutes to play to pull it off. One score game I just can’t see it going their way in the last few minutes. Their defense certainly won’t hold up under those conditions

I have no doubt the bills are the better team and at this moment Allen is better than mahommes. I also have no doubt that we lose today. Not sure if I’m even watching the game. Last week was my superbowl

I feel like there's only going to be one road win today, so if it's not Washington, I think it bodes well for later.

I know that's irrational but it makes sense in my head.

I see the Bills wining tomorrow cuz they're better in the trenches than they've been the last couple of years. Meanwhile KC's OL is weaker than it has been, Jones and Karlaftis at DL obv very good. Just keep playing turnover free football and it will happen. Then we can enjoy watching Ryan Clark eat a sheet sandwich afterward. What's up with that guy?
It's definitely their best OL. I'll believe the DL can help win a big game when I see it happen. Couldn't do jack squat vs Cincy/Miami backup OLs or even KCs if you go back to '20.

Bills have to overhaul the safety position. Hamlins a great story but he's not a starter.

Allen had his head up his ass first drive . Defense couldn’t even get the chiefs to 3rd down once

Good lord that’s as bad a start as you could imagine, pretty early to have a critical drive coming up but here we are…

Torrence handled Jones well in the reg season but he's having issues today for sure

And that decision to kick probably ended the game
