And BC lost to FAUAnyone watching GTech game ha. Spread was almost 30 and they're up 1 under a minute. Prob not good for the Net but what a mess.
Lot's of good things to build on! Players are figuring each other out, but they got the blueprint for how they need to play and improve on Defense. Watching 6'8 guys switching/hedging on guards was beautiful. Bigs/forwards contested everything around the rim. Kiyan's defense was way more engaged and active vice the exhibition games. Still, so many areas to improve on!What did you think?
Yeah terrible timing with the college bball season just startingDitto, I’m giving those aholes a few more days and then it’s Fubo time
Are we...are we back? It seems like a lifetime ago when our "tune up game" were actually tune up games. The last few years we've had to sweat just about every team, including Binghamton. We came out and dominated from start to finish, like we're SYRACUSE. I hope this continues. The world is a better place when Syracuse basketball is good.
With 2 starters out.
They had some good athletes. Not manyYou can only play the team that’s in front of you.
Is Binghamton comically bad? Yes they are.
We did what we should have against a horrific team.
That said, I think this is the most athletic team we’ve had in years and has a chance to make things interesting.
Houston hasn’t looked anything special vs Lehigh. We have to put the same effort and hammer Delaware State etc then go to Vegas confident and play our asses off.I feel so much better about our chances of making a fair showing in Vegas now.
Pulled hammie…I didnt get to watch and got on the gamecast only when it was 10-0 because I was trying to get the game on my free ESPN+ from Verizon (a no-go, thanks ACCNX).
What happened to JJ?
yea that spread was actually only like 1.5 and was on the road. Not ideal but not unexpected. And BC lost to FAU

And it’s fun to watch. Glad he’s finally got the right horses.Credit to Red. He said he was gonna bring back old school cuse bball and that’s what I saw tonight.
Fast breaks, athletic play, high flying scores in the paint, teamwork, defense…Let’s 3$@!in’ Go!!
Here’s what I think (didn’t see this thread), we good ladies and gents we good:What did you think?
Yep, no doubt. Anthony plays...I don’t go much anymore, mainly due to product on the floor. More athletic and more defensive effort than we’ve seen in years. The inferior opponent was treated thusly. No let up in terms of pressing, etc. places to improve, certainly, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You can see Red’s vision taking shape. He wants to play a style great players will want to play. Let’s hope for a good Vegas trip, and then onward.
Impressed with Kiyan. Didn’t force much. Knows how to score. Hopefully he will adjust to more athletic competition.
For sure. we missed on a handful of crazy oops too. This is game 1 and the timing already is looking great. Imagine midseason form. Kyle, Sadiq, Suare, and freeman can get into the rafters.Credit to Red. He said he was gonna bring back old school cuse bball and that’s what I saw tonight.

The great thing about Kyle is he’s not an NBA center and can’t shoot. So he is going to be a four year guy. Only two guys in recent history, Warrick and Grant have looked that ferocious around the rim.I went and sat first row so I could get close up view. Such a fun team to watch. They hit a lull offensively but the defensive effort was great and just taking pride in playing hard defense. NG is a true leader - he was asking constantly “who had who” and etc etc. WK is an absolute beast. That kid is so good for so many reasons.
Hopefully everyone is taking a chill pill bout being motivated for an exhibition. You saw a completely different team tonight. The one that played ina game that matters. Was fun to watch and the brand of basketball I expected
