As for me, I will continue to challenge him but I have to admit that I can no longer take him one on one..
I remember that day with my son. It was a sad day indeed. It went from:
1) my utter domination of him
2) he could at least compete a little
3) he could keep up pretty well but i could beat him when i needed to
4) he could almost beat me
5) he could beat me but I could still beat him if I used all of my weight advantage and psychological warfare
5) I could only beat him when I cheated and held
6) He could beat me consistently no matter what I did
7) he felt sorry for me and would let me score once in awhile
8) he could hold me completely scoreless unless he let me have a basket
9) I will only play with him if we are just shooting around.
10) I will get to repeat the process with his children (hopefully!!)
